Introduction

A fossil from eBay. Its a single ammonite that is stuck in a matrix - I need to learn a bit more about ammonites to be able to identify it properly.

Photogrammetry

I took a series of photographs of the fern and processed them using Meshroom to create a 3D model of the fern. It's quite a rough model, but it's good enough to show the fern in 3D. The viewer itself is a model-viewer by Google that allows you to view 3D models in the browser (modelviewer.dev).
