Photogrammetry - Fossilised Fern
Introduction
A fossil from a small shop in Bristol (worldfossils.co.uk) that sells a variety of fossils and minerals. I think it was fairly cheap - around £16 - and it's a nice little piece to have in a collection.Photogrammetry
I took a series of photographs of the fern and processed them using Meshroom to create a 3D model of the fern. It's quite a rough model, but it's good enough to show the fern in 3D. The viewer itself is a model-viewer by Google that allows you to view 3D models in the browser (modelviewer.dev).Gallery
